SOIE & STONE / INFORMATION & SUPPORT

FAQs

The kit & your order

What is included?

A brass fire piston, ferro rod and striker, solar reflector, telescoping pocket bellows and MOLLE-style pouch. Each kit set contains the stated number of complete kits. Tinder, fuel and digital guides are not included.

Is this suitable for beginners?

Practice and suitable tinder are required. Start in safe, permitted outdoor conditions and learn each method before relying on it. The kit is not a guarantee of ignition in every environment.

Does the solar reflector work on cloudy days?

No. It needs direct sunlight focused on suitable tinder. The piston and ferro rod offer alternative techniques, each with their own preparation and limitations.

How do kit-set savings work?

Select the one-, two- or three-kit offer on the product page. Eligible savings apply automatically. Review your selected quantity and final total before payment; offers do not stack unless expressly stated.

Is shipping free?

Yes. Standard worldwide shipping is free, with no minimum purchase. Applicable taxes and import charges are separate. See our shipping policy for destination and delivery information.

Can I request a return?

Contact us within 30 days of receiving your item. Eligibility and the process are described in our return policy. Contact us before sending anything back.

What if something arrives damaged or missing?

Email service@soiestone.com with your order number, details and relevant photos. Keep the packaging while we review the issue.

Where can I use the kit?

Only where fires are permitted and conditions are safe. Follow local fire restrictions, supervise children, keep water nearby and fully extinguish fires.
